Get a taste for studying at Falmouth by attending a virtual Open Day.
This year we're hosting virtual Open Days, with a range of subject area sessions, so you can really explore the courses that you're interested in. Our live sessions will give you an opportunity to hear from academic advisors, course lecturers and current students.
What's in store?
What to expect from a virtual Open Day
Our virtual Open Days include a range of one-hour subject area sessions. These will cover an overview of the course structure, the different modules you can take and our approach to learning. We'll also share what we look for in a future student, as well as the employability and career routes you can take with your chosen course.
The sessions will delivered as a mix of presentations, videos and Q&As. The Q&A session is a great opportunity to get your questions answered by our academic staff. Hear from your future lecturers about how the course will be delivered and talk to current students about accommodation options, clubs and societies and living in Falmouth.
You'll also be able to join live virtual tours of our campuses, guided by our student Ambassadors, and dedicated advice & guidance sessions. These sessions will include Moving to Falmouth, Student Finance and How to Apply, as well as a dedicated event for parents, guardians and carers.
How can I prepare for a virtual Open Day?
You will need to register in advance to have access to our virtual Open Day. Select your chosen session in the events listed above to book your spot. Once you've registered, we'll email you a link and information about how to join. We'll also send you a reminder the day before and the day of your session too, so you don't forget.
What if I can't make the date?
Don't worry, we can still send you a recording of the live session. Just register for your chosen event, and if you don't attend on the day then we'll email you afterwards with a link to the recording.
Can my family or friends attend?
As with our on-campus Open Days, parents, guardians, carers and friends are more than welcome to join. Choosing which university to apply to can be a big decision, so having someone there to discuss your thoughts with, post-event, can be really helpful. They can either register separately or join alongside you via your device.
