The best way to get a feel for life at Falmouth is to be surrounded by it. So, if you’re coming to an Open Day, why not extend your trip to really explore Falmouth and Penryn. Here’s a little inspiration to help you live like one of our students for the day.
9am Wake up and head to Good Vibes Café, a favourite among our students. Sample their spicy baked beans, delicious homemade granola or first-class vegan breakfast.
10am Next stop, explore the award-winning Falmouth Art Gallery which houses one of the largest collections in Cornwall. See work by ground-breaking artists, including Sir Edward Burne-Jones, Ben Nicholson, Tacita Dean and Lee Miller, as well as work by local artist, community groups and students.
11am Once you’ve had your culture fix, it’s time to explore Falmouth’s buzzing high street. Browse best-selling fiction in the Falmouth Bookseller, hunt for vinyl in Jam Records and uncover retro gems at Wild Pony and Vintage Warehouse 13.
