What is Clearing?
Clearing is part of the application cycle for universities. It's an opportunity for applicants who have made a UCAS undergraduate application but do not hold any offers, to be matched to university places that haven't yet been filled.
Whether you're a parent or guardian of an applicant or an applicant yourself, we're here to support you. You can call us and we'll be able to give relevant information to inform your journey.

Do your research
Before you apply make sure you've looked into key information such as how the course is taught and assessed, whether you get a dedicated studio space, how to apply for accommodation and what support services are available to you.
Apply yourself
Always complete your application yourself, but remember at Falmouth our Applicant Services team can phone you and help you do this.
Be prepared
If you're applying by phone, have your UCAS number (if you have one) and your qualifications (including the name of the qualification, the subject, the grade and when you took them) to hand.
Ask the right questions
When you're talking to our Applicant Services team, be sure to get all your questions answered. For example you might want to ask what accommodation is available, whether you have a deadline, when the start of term is or whether there is any summer reading/work for your course.
